My experience in the field of road traffic law is second to none and for decades I have been representing clients facing allegations of speeding, careless/dangerous driving and driving with excess alcohol. I am also one of a limited number of solicitors in the UK specialising in representing clients who are contesting the accuracy of speed readings produced by laser speed measuring devices. In addition, I advise clients as to the adequacy of signage at safety camera enforcement sites where speed restrictions apply.

I have specialised in legislation concerning commercial goods vehicles and passenger carrying vehicles for decades. I have extensive experience in representing clients facing alleged contravention of drivers’ hours and drivers’ records legislation. I have been involved in appeals to the High Court in such matters and have appeared on both national television and radio.

I travel extensively and represent operators and drivers before the Traffic Commissioners across England and Wales

I have Higher Rights of Audience in criminal law cases and have considerable experience representing clients facing investigation by the police and/or prosecution in all aspects of criminal law. I have dealt with in excess of ten homicide cases.
